Dani DeLade, LCAT, LPAT, ATR-BC (they/them), is an art therapist with over fifteen years of clinical experience working at the intersection of creativity, identity, and trauma. They are a queer, transgender, non-binary clinician, educator, and artist whose lived experience deeply informs their professional practice. Their work centers on creating spaces of belonging, creativity, and holistic wellness for LGBTQIA+ individuals and families, with particular emphasis on art-making, play, embodiment, and life transitions.
Dani practices on the original homelands of the Lenape in what is now New Jersey and is committed to culturally responsive and inclusive care. In addition to clinical work, they contribute to professional writing and training focused on trauma-informed and healing centered approaches, and sustainability for helping professionals. Their writing reflects an integration of clinical expertise, social justice frameworks, and creative practice.
