Jennifer Tedesco, MPS, ATR-BC, LCAT, CCTP, is a New York based Board-Certified, Licensed Art Therapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with over two decades of clinical experience. Her work encompasses diverse clinical, medical, and community-based contexts, both nationally and internationally, with a focus on trauma- informed care for individuals affected by complex trauma and chronic pain. She has contributed to the development and implementation of pilot programs addressing the multidimensional needs of trauma-impacted populations and has provided clinical supervision across interdisciplinary treatment settings.
Her clinical framework is grounded in embodied, trauma-informed methodologies, integrating art therapy with somatic and mind–body approaches to support clients in fostering resilience and meaning-making in the aftermath of trauma, as well as in the management of chronic pain.
In addition to her clinical work, she serves as adjunct faculty at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She is also an active mental health advocate, engaged in initiatives both domestically and internationally that advance equitable access to care and promote awareness of mental health.
