Melissa Ulloa (She/Her/Ella) is a bilingual licensed creative arts therapist and board-certified art psychotherapist based in New York City. She is a first generation Peruvian American with over 8.5 years of clinical experience and is trained in CPP, EMDR, TF-CBT, and HealthRhythms Drumming. She co-leads the NCTSN’s Embodied Holistic Healing Community of Practice. She also owns a consulting business focused on amplifying indigenous arts practices for BIPOC communities. She has served as an Adjunct Faculty at New York University’s Graduate Art Therapy Program and was the Social Advocacy Chair for NYATA. Outside of work, she finds joy in social activism, painting, yoga, nature, learning Andean instruments, folkloric dance, and Quechua.
