The School of Visual Arts (SVA) will host a panel presentation/ book event entitled, Embodiment in Theory and Practice: A New Paradigm in Art Therapy during their monthly community lecture series to celebrate the release of the book. Mia de Béthune, Lidice Cohen, and Valeria Koutmina, the authors of Chapter 9, Embodied methods in online art therapy, of The Embodied Art Therapist in conversation with panel moderator and book editor, Kelley Linhardt, discuss embodied methods for conducting online and virtual reality art therapy in-person at the American Art Therapy Association conference in Charlotte, North Carolina. The title of the panel is Exploring embodied methods for online and virtual reality art therapy.
