Gary Nash Dip AT, MAAT trained in 1989 and 1995 at both Goldsmiths’ and St Albans. He co-founded the London Art Therapy Centre in 2009 where he was Clinical Co-Director from 2009-20. He continues to provide individual and group art psychotherapy and delivers professional workshops for arts therapists, leading on arts-based research projects, and publishing his work.
Gary has contributed to art therapy teaching at the School of Creative Arts at the University since 2018, contributing to the knowledge exchange culture through hosting the UH International Art Therapy Conference in 2022 and 2024. His recent work as part of the editorial board at the Journal of Applied Arts and Health has led to guest editorials for two special issues, Innovation in the Arts in Therapy (2023) and Creativity, Art and the Environment (2025).
