Valeria is a board-certified creative arts therapist, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Accelerated Resolution Therapy® practitioner. She works in private practice and Hospice in suburban New York, offering a diverse clientele verbal and nonverbal techniques, bespoke creative interventions, and body-based approaches to promote greater regulation, self-knowledge, and fulfillment. Embodiment, metaphor, humor, and play are integral to her therapeutic philosophy. Valeria has worked in the United States and abroad as an instructor, facilitator, and advocate for mental health and creative arts therapy.
She is a co-editor of The Embodied Art Therapist.
